Sophie Hainsworth joins DigiKind, bringing over 12 years’ experience and deep executive-level expertise to help Business Improvement Districts rejuvenate high streets.

23 MAY 2023: Sophie Hainsworth, multi-award-winning place and digital marketing expert is joining DigiKind as a high street advisor.

Sophie is a highly experienced former CEO and Co-Founder of a company providing digital services to over 70 towns and cities across the UK.

Regarding her work with DigiKind, Sophie said: I am really excited to join Kathy and the DigiKind team to help continue their impressive work on the high street. I’m passionate to create meaningful change in the industry and work with a team focused on doing this.”

During her six years as CEO at LoyalFree, Sophie has won a plethora of awards for her work including Entrepreneurial Collaborator & Scale Up Entrepreneur at the Real Entrepreneurs Award 2022, Leicester Mercury Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 and a double win at the Leicestershire Live Women’s Awards.

When asked about Sophie joining the DigiKind team, Founder Kathy Kyle said, I am thrilled Sophie is joining our team at DigiKind. Under Sophie’s management, her business received awards such as FSB Digital Innovation of the Year, Mills & Reeve Innovation 50, double wins at the East Midlands Chamber Awards, winner of the Theo Paphitis SBS Award and double wins at the Retail Systems National Awards.

Furthermore, she is part of the Government’s High Streets Task Force (who support communities and local government to transform their high streets) and also represented the UK at the 2019 World Towns Leadership Summit in Tokyo, where she spoke on changing consumer demands on the high street. A regular speaker and panellist for British BIDs and ATCM (Association of Town & City Management) – Sophie is a well-respected voice in the place management industry.

Outside of work Sophie is also an avid campaigner for mental health awareness and a mentor to many start up entrepreneurs. She can usually be found travelling across the globe, walking her dogs or with a book in one hand and a coffee in the other.
